Job summary

Fairview Health Services is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Perianesthesia team at Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville, MN. The role involves patient assessment, care planning, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to support patients undergoing same-day procedures and surgeries.

Applicants should have MN RN licensure, BLS, 2–3 years of critical care RN experience, and ACLS/PALS/PEARS competency or the ability to obtain it within 6 months.

Qualifications

• MN RN license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• 2–3 years RN experience in PACU/ICU/ED or equivalent critical care.
• Ability to provide written validation of ACLS, PALS or PEARS competency or obtain within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and identify expected nursing outcomes.
• Collaborate with patient, family and health team to develop an integrated care plan.
• Develop individualized care plans based on age, social and cultural considerations.
• Evaluate care and patient response to interventions and outcomes.
• Coordinate care and delegate responsibilities to team members as appropriate.
• Promote evidence-based practice and continuous improvement to enhance patient outcomes.
