Job summary

Bay Area Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse for Perianesthesia to support patient care across Pre-Op, PACU Phase I and II. You will apply the nursing process, educate patients and families, document in the medical record, and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Oregon
• BLS, ACLS or equivalent required; PALS or ENPC preferred
• Recent acute care hospital experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assists physician with endoscopic examinations and pre-/post-op care management
• Coordinates interdisciplinary team for patient readiness for surgery
• Performs nursing duties including medication administration, monitoring, and documentation
