Job summary

Advocate Health's Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay, WI, is seeking a Registered Nurse for Perianesthesia to support preoperative, PACU, and discharge phases. The role requires completing an accredited nursing program and an active RN license in Wisconsin, with BLS on hire and ACLS/PALS within orientation/6 months.

Schedule includes four 9-hour shifts weekly, on-call with 1-2 overnight shifts per 6 weeks, 3-4 weekends, and 1 holiday per year/every other year.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• ACLS upon orientation.
• PALS certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead in creating a safe patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum using evidence-based practice and effective communication.
