Job summary

The Bay Area Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Perianesthesia team. You will provide care across Pre-Op, PACU Phase 1 and II, documenting in the EMR and collaborating with physicians, anesthesia, and nursing staff.

Candidate must hold an Oregon RN license with BLS/ACLS/PALS; CPAN or similar certification is preferred. This role requires adaptability to shift variations and a strong commitment to patient safety.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Oregon.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required or to be obtained by specified grace periods.
• CPAN or equivalent specialty certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Functions as a team member in perianesthesia care including Pre-Op, PACU Phase 1 and II.
• Assists with endoscopic exams, manages patient status and coordinates care with the interdisciplinary team.
• Documents patient assessments and care in the EMR; educates patients and families.
