Job summary

Vitruvian Health in Georgia is seeking an RN to provide direct patient care in an ambulatory setting using the nursing process. You will manage the care of assigned patients and cope with rapid patient turnover in a dynamic pre-op and recovery environment.

Graduates of accredited nursing programs with ACLS, Basic Arrhythmia, and Conscious Sedation training are encouraged to apply. Georgia RN licensure and BLS CPR are required, with CAPA/CPAN for level III.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• ACLS, Basic Arrhythmia, and Conscious Sedation training required.
• Georgia RN licensure; CAPA or CPAN certification required for level III; BLS CPR required.
• One year acute care nursing experience preferred; ambulatory setting experience for level II/III as specified.

Job Summary

Provides direct patient care to patients in an ambulatory setting using the nursing process. Must be able to manage the care of assigned patients and cope with rapid patient turnover. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to the population served.

Job Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of accredited school of nursing. Successful completion of the Basic Arrhythmia and Conscious Sedation Classes and ACLS certification required.
• Licensure: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Georgia. CAPA or CPAN certification required for level III. BLS CPR required.
• Experience: One year acute care nursing experience preferred, but will provide on the job training. One year nursing experience in an ambulatory setting required for level II, 2 years required for level III.
• Skills: Routine nursing skills - Ability to perform pre-admission testing when necessary.

Physical, Mental, Environmental and Working Conditions

Prolonged walking and standing required with the ability to lift and move patients. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to tolerate rapid patient turnover. Works in a typical ambulatory pre-op, phase I and phase II recovery setting with patients experiencing a wide range of surgical procedures and anesthetics. Required to work rotating day shift hours with late day assignments.
