Job summary

Vitruvian Health in Dalton, GA, seeks a CVSICU Registered Nurse for night shifts. You will deliver direct care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in the Cardiovascular Surgical ICU, using the nursing process and professional judgment.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, Georgia RN licensure, and BLS; ACLS and CCRN are preferred. Flexibility to work weekends and night hours is expected. Competitive benefits offered.

• Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing.
• Georgia RN license; BLS required; ACLS and CCRN preferred.
• Critical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Is responsible for appropriately managing care of assigned patients who present with life-threatening illness and/or disease. Demonstrates professional growth and development. BSN preferred**Licensure/Certification**: Current RN License in the State of Georgia. BLS required ACLS preferred CCRN preferred **Experience:** Experience preferred Critical Care Course/Internship preferred **Skills:** Nursing skills as defined in the Law Governing the Practice of Nursing in Georgia. Additionally, proficient in special skills as demonstrated through completion of critical care skills check-off.## PHYSICAL, MENTAL, ENVIRONMENTAL AND WORKING CONDITIONSWorks in typical acute health care setting with adolescent, adult and geriatric patients experiencing a wide range of medical and/or surgical problems. Required to work flexible schedule including weekends. Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 pounds. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Requires working under stressful conditions.
