Job summary

Vitruvian Health is seeking a Perianesthesia Registered Nurse to join our Dalton, GA team in a full-time role. You will provide direct patient care in ambulatory pre-op and recovery settings, managing rapid turnover and applying the nursing process with diverse surgical cases.

The position requires Georgia RN licensure, ACLS, Basic Arrhythmia and Conscious Sedation training, plus CAPA or CPAN certification for level III.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing. ACLS certification required.
• Basic Arrhythmia and Conscious Sedation Classes completed; BLS CPR required.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Georgia; CAPA or CPAN certification required for level III.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care to ambulatory patients using the nursing process; manage care for assigned patients with rapid turnover.
• Demonstrates knowledge and skills for population served; works in pre-op, phase I and phase II recovery settings.

Must be able to manage the care of assigned patients and cope with rapid patient turnover. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to the population served.**JOB QUALIFICATIONS****Education:** Graduate of accredited school of nursing. Successful completion of the Basic Arrhythmia and Conscious Sedation Classes and ACLS certification required.**Licensure**: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Georgia. CAPA or CPAN certification required for level III. BLS CPR required**Experience:** One year acute care nursing experience preferred, but will provide on the job training. One year nursing experience in an ambulatory setting required for level II, 2 years required for level III.**Skills:** Routine nursing skills - Ability to perform pre-admission testing when necessary.PHYSICAL, MENTAL, ENVIRONMENTAL AND WORKING CONDITIONSProlonged walking and standing required with the ability to lift and move patients. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to tolerate rapid patient turnover. Works in a typical ambulatory pre-op, phase I and phase II recovery setting with patients experiencing a wide range of surgical procedures and anesthetics.
