Job summary

Amsect is seeking a certified clinical perfusionist to provide vital physiological support during cardiac surgery, operating heart-lung machinery to assume cardiac and pulmonary functions and safeguard brain activity. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical or related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant work experience.
• Certified Clinical Perfusionist by the ACP and NJ Perfusionist Licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide physiological support for patients requiring heart-lung machine during surgery.
• Assume heart and lung functions, brain protection, and adapt to minute-to-minute metabolic changes.
• Provide hemodynamic support using intra-aortic balloon pump and other technology.
