Job summary

Veterans Health Administration is seeking a Clinical Perfusionist responsible for managing physiologic and metabolic needs during cardiopulmonary bypass or ECMO. The role requires independent perfusion conduct and ensuring safe cardio-respiratory management under the cardiac surgeon's direction.

Qualifications

• Degree in perfusion accredited by CAAHEP or EQualTM Canada.
• Board-certified in clinical perfusion by ABCP; current and ongoing CE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage physiologic and metabolic needs of the surgical patient on CPB/ECMO.
• Independently conduct perfusion and ensure safe cardiopulmonary management during procedures.
• Meet basic English proficiency and licensure/credentialing requirements as applicable.
