Job summary

System One is seeking a Junior Quality Assurance Tester in New Carrollton, Maryland for an onsite contract-to-hire role. You will contribute to performance testing and validation of applications to ensure reliability under load.

The position requires experience with performance testing, LoadRunner, and understanding of SLAs and KPIs. Security clearance: US Citizenship is required, and W2 compensation is $25.00-$42.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience with performance testing and system tuning to ensure scalability.
• LoadRunner experience for designing, executing and analyzing performance tests.
• Skilled in bottleneck analysis and establishing performance baselines.
• Understanding of SLAs, KPIs and non-functional requirements and translating them into testing objectives.
• Experience producing forecasts and workload projections based on trend analysis and historical data.
• Knowledge of cloud performance testing (AWS, Azure).
• Strong skills in analyzing test results and findings to provide actionable recommendations.
• Experience with capacity planning frameworks and building performance models to anticipate future growth and demand.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools for performance testing, such as AppDynamics or Splunk, to identify and analyze bottlenecks.
• Familiarity with mainframe and web-based performance systems.
