Job summary

Interclypse, Inc. is actively seeking a seasoned QA Analyst/Tester to join our Maryland team onsite. You will map requirements to test cases, craft automated and manual tests, and coordinate IT software validation across web and mobile apps in a cross-platform environment.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in software testing, strong SQL skills, and proficiency with Jira or VersionOne. Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems Engineering, Business, or related scientific or technical discipline is required.
• Eight (8) years of experience as an analyst/tester on software projects in supporting requirement analysis, application test script development and execution.
• Five (5) years of experience in mapping the business and technical requirements into test cases and generating test scripts.
• Five (5) years of practical experience in using relational databases and generating SQL scripts is required.
• Five (5) years of experience in using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Strong ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams and users.

Responsibilities

• Establishing capable processes, monitoring and control of critical processes and product mechanisms for feedback of performance, implementing effective root cause analysis and corrective action system, and continuous process improvement.
• Providing strategic quality plans in targeted areas of the organization.
• Providing QA strategies to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established industry standards, government regulations, and customer requirements; and
• Developing and implementing life cycle and QA methodologies and educating, and implementing QA metrics.
• Develop and document test cases, testing plans and procedures in an agile environment
• Develop, execute and coordinate IT software tests and evaluate results to ensure compliance with applicable regulations
• Design and prepare all needed test data. Reviews test results and evaluates for conformance to design
• Develop and maintain automated regression and integration test plans for validation
• Communicate test results and feedback with business and IT stakeholders
