A leading IT services provider is seeking a Senior Performance Test Engineer for a 6-month contract to hire position. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in performance testing across web and mobile applications, with a strong background in Java and performance testing tools. This role requires candidates to be located in VA/MD/DC for face-to-face interaction and must hold a GC or US Citizenship for Public Trust eligibility. Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience using automated test tools for performance testing.
Hands-on experience with performance monitoring tools like New Relic APM.
Experience on any performance testing tool (HP Performance Center, JMeter).
Responsibilities
Measure, analyze, and optimize performance of web and mobile applications.
Translate performance requirements into detailed test cases and create test scripts.
Monitor application/database/machine-level performance and analyze metrics.
