We represent some of the world’s most influential artists and continue to expand our creative and cultural impact across the Americas. At HYBE, we believe in the power of music and foster a culture built on Passion, Autonomy, and Trust.

Position Overview

Our growing Creative & Production team at HYBE America is seeking an experienced and visionary Performance Manager / Director to lead the creative direction and execution of live and recorded performances for HxG artists. The ideal candidate is a seasoned performance creative who can translate an artist's identity and the character of their music into original, compelling stage concepts — from choreography and coaching to full creative direction across music, costumes, lighting, and stage design. This person will plan and produce performances that best showcase HxG artists' music, developing creative concepts for every aspect of an artist's performance based on their unique identity and the characteristics of each song, and collaborating with a wide range of internal and external partners to bring those ideas to life. Working hands‑on with artists and trainees, this person will manage a talent pool of dancers and performance professionals and oversee performance elements across concerts, broadcast stages, and music videos — creating performances that inspire, comfort, and move audiences alongside a team of passionate professionals who take pride in delivering high‑quality, original work.

This is a full-time, hybrid role based in our Santa Monica office, with in-person collaboration 3 days per week and remote work 2 days per week.

  • Define the creative direction for performance‑related elements, including music, costumes, lighting, and stage design.
  • Oversee and coordinate all performance‑related aspects of concerts, broadcast stages, music videos, and other productions.
  • Workload may increase during peak album production periods.
  • Domestic and international travel, as well as off‑site work, may be required as needed.
Qualifications
  • Exceptional creative vision and a proven ability to develop original performance concepts.
  • Proven experience in creating performances and choreography that effectively bring out the unique characteristics of songs.
  • A strong passion for dance and music, with a high standard for performance quality and execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide dance training across a variety of genres, in addition to choreography development.
  • Ability to submit a portfolio (submission of all portfolio materials listed below is required).
  • 2‑3 choreography samples created within the last 12 months. (the more current, the better).
  • 1 pop choreo sample for artist/group (within the last 12 months. Choreography must be 2‑3 minutes in length)
  • Eligible to obtain visas for international business travel, with no restrictions on overseas travel.
It’s a bonus if you have
  • Experience in directing stage performances in domestic and international settings.
  • Ability to communicate in foreign languages (e.g., English, Korean, Japanese, etc).
  • Ability to manage administrative tasks related to performance production, including budget management.
  • Proficiency in music and video editing software.
  • Ability to execute and adapt choreography across a wide range of genres.

  • Persistence and dedication to creating high‑quality performances with a strong focus on execution.
