Job summary

ASLPM in Sacramento seeks a Performance Management Lead to manage the Capital Baseline for the High-Speed Rail Program. You will report to the Chief of Project Controls and collaborate with Cost, Schedule, and Risk leads to ensure transparent enterprise performance.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of PM experience in transit/mobility.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, Project Management, or Finance.

Responsibilities

• Baseline Management: Act as the key resource for the Capital Baseline, monitoring changes on execution projects and maintaining records of scope, EAC, and schedule movements.
• Reporting & Insights: Develop dashboards for executive reporting and provide analytical insights on actuals versus Baseline plans.
• Process Optimization: Drive performance improvements by reviewing existing baseline structures and enhancing performance monitoring procedures.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate with departmental and external stakeholders to elicit consistent responses to program controls requirements.

What You'll Bring

• Experience: 6+ years of project management experience specifically within the transit and mobility industry.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, Project Management, or Finance.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in data management, cost planning, and reporting techniques, with a strong understanding of construction project phases.
• Preferred Tools: Experience with PowerBI, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Office; PMP or MBA certifications are highly valued.
• Flexibility: Readiness for up to 40% travel to support program needs.
