About The Role

Are you an experienced Risk Management professional ready to play a critical support role on a historic infrastructure program? We are seeking a detail-oriented Risk Specialist to join the Project Controls and Project Financial office.

This position is key to enhancing program risk oversight. You will be responsible for maintaining risk reporting tools, managing the Authority's risk register, and collaborating with numerous internal and external stakeholders to manage program-level and project-level risks. What You\'ll Be Doing

As a Risk Specialist, you will be crucial to maintaining the Authority's risk infrastructure and ensuring consistent application of risk methodologies across the program.

  • Risk Governance & Documentation: Manage the Authority's risk register, ensuring proper coordination between program-level and project-level risks.
  • Maintain and update the Authority's Program Risk Management Plan and prepare quarterly risk management reports.
  • Provide guidance and templates for project risk management, including qualitative risk registers and quantitative risk assessments.
  • Analysis & Baselines: Assist the team in establishing and maintaining cost and schedule baselines to assess risk exposures.
  • Develop and maintain risk reporting tools for cost and schedule risk analysis.
  • Oversight & Challenge: Review and challenge project-level risk assessments to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Support project teams in implementing risk management strategies and maintaining project risk contingency plans.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with Enterprise Risk personnel to align with overall risk management goals.
  • Support input required for external stakeholders, grant applications, and program reporting.
Who We're Looking For

  • Experience & Education: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a relevant discipline plus 10+ years in related risk management roles.
