Overview

Project Controls Analyst role supporting client projects in the power/utility sector, focusing on schedule development using Primavera P6 and cost plan development and analysis.

Job Details

Location: Hybrid - 3 days per week - in either Sacramento or San Ramon

Must be comfortable with infrequent travel to client sites within the Bay Area - 1x per month roughly

Duration: 12 month contract-to-hire

Base pay range: $50.00/hr - $65.00/hr

Compensation: $50.00-65.00/HR

Responsibilities

• Support project managers across all phases of projects, managing and monitoring timelines, ensuring on-time and within-scope completion.
• Track budgets and cost plans; facilitate meetings and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Support operations and leadership in schedule development using Primavera P6.
• Assist with cost plan development and analysis; manage multiple projects concurrently.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelors Degree in engineering, management, business or finance
• 2+ years of PCA experience
• Familiarity with the utility industry
• Familiarity with scheduling tools, such as P6
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Working experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, etc.)
• Detail-oriented and capacity to learn new software (learning attitude)

These services include engineering only and engineering/procurement/construction (EPC) services for high voltage powerlines and substations. As a Project Controls Analyst, you\'ll be supporting their clients\' Wildfire Safety Inspection Program (T-line) and will be responsible for partnering with the Project Managers as they manage all phases of the projects, managing and monitoring project timelines, ensuring on-time and scope completion, keeping track of budgets, facilitating meetings and coordinating with different teams. You\'ll be responsible for supporting operations and leadership in schedule development using Primavera P6 and will also be responsible for cost plan development and analysis. The successful candidate should be comfortable working on multiple projects at once and have a successful background supporting project management teams.
