Job summary

The City of New York’s Department of Transportation, Bridges Division, seeks an Associate Investigator to join the Performance Management Unit. This role oversees audits, evaluates internal controls, and assesses economy, efficiency, and effectiveness of processes.

You will develop executive dashboards using Excel/Power BI, track corrective actions, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to improve data integrity and reporting quality for management decisions.

Qualifications

• Four-year high school diploma and five years' investigation experience.
• Associate degree with four years' investigation experience or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree with two years' investigation experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain milestones, KPIs, target dates, responsible parties, and escalation thresholds.
• Coordinate with program areas and agency partners to resolve cross-functional obstacles.
• Review timeliness and efficacy of internal processes and workflows.
• Assist in coordinating division responses to internal and external audits.
