Job summary

The New York City Department of Transportation is seeking an Administrative Management Auditor 2 to oversee audits and internal controls within the Performance Management Unit. The role focuses on evaluating economy, efficiency, and effectiveness of processes and reporting to executive leadership.

Responsibilities include maintaining KPIs, coordinating with cross-functional teams, reviewing workflows, and developing procedures to improve data quality and reporting. Residency in NYC required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree+ accounting/related field with auditing experience.
• CPA or CIA certification preferred with management auditing background.
• Experience in performance management, internal controls and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee audits and evaluate internal controls for the division.
• Maintain milestones, KPIs, target dates and escalation thresholds.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve obstacles and improve reporting.
