The Hochstein School in Rochester, NY seeks a reliable, hands-on Performance & Facilities Assistant to support performances, events and daily building operations. The role balances event production with facilities tasks in a welcoming environment for students, faculty, staff, performers and visitors.

Responsibilities include preparing spaces, setting up equipment, basic lighting/audio duties, and assisting with repairs and inspections as needed.

Competenze

• Experience in stage production, event operations or facilities support.
• Knowledge of theatrical lighting and audio equipment is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of building maintenance and minor repairs preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Dependable and able to work independently or with others.
• Friendly, professional communication and teamwork.

Mansioni

• Prepare and operate performance spaces for Hochstein concerts, rehearsals, events and rentals.
• Set up chairs, music stands, percussion equipment, lighting and sound gear.
• Assist with basic theatrical lighting and audio operations.
• Serve as contact for renters, performers and vendors during events.
• Restore spaces and common areas after events.
• Perform general building maintenance and routine upkeep.
• Keep classrooms, studios and spaces clean, safe and welcoming.
• Inspect facilities and report safety concerns or equipment issues.
• Assist with moving and arranging tables, chairs and equipment for setups.
