Job summary

Panthera Grid Partners in Houston, TX seeks a Performance Engineer with 3+ years in renewable asset optimization. You will own performance analytics across solar and energy storage assets, lead modeling with PVsyst, and drive improvements in fleet availability and energy production targets.

Collaboration with O&M, Asset Management, and third-party providers is essential to identify risks, support due diligence, and deliver robust performance insights. Hybrid work in Houston.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in Renewable energy performance roles.
• Strong PV solar and BESS knowledge.
• Proficiency in Excel, Python, MATLAB, and related tools.
• Understanding of PVsyst software and performance modeling.
• Effective communication for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Monitor fleet-wide solar and storage performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and reports.
• Lead root cause analyses and performance improvement initiatives.
• Analyze SCADA, weather, and equipment data to find optimization opportunities.
• Produce technical reports and executive summaries for stakeholders.
