Job summary

Accenture Flex is seeking a Performance Engineer in Charlotte, NC on a local fixed-duration project basis. You will diagnose issues, develop performance testing strategies, and guide a team of engineers to deliver reliable, scalable applications.

With 5+ years of experience, you will collaborate across teams, mentor juniors, and continuously improve testing tools and methodologies. This role requires 60% onsite client work in Charlotte and related travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience.
• Hands-on experience as developer and/or performance architect.
• Onsite client work 60% (3 days per week) in Charlotte, NC and 5 days per quarter.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose performance issues and engage in the five aspects of Performance Engineering (SDLC/architecture, performance testing/validation, capacity planning, application performance management, problem detection and resolution).
• Be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively, and lead decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions while providing solutions across teams.
• Analyze performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement performance testing strategies to ensure application reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior team members on best practices.
• Continuously evaluate and refine performance testing tools and methodologies.
