Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience in software performance or related area.
• Hands-on experience as developer and/or performance architect.
• Onsite client work 60% (3 days/week) in Charlotte, NC with 5 days per quarter.
• Associate's degree or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Diagnose performance issues and drive resolutions with in-house teams.
• Lead five aspects of performance engineering across SDLC: architecture, testing, capacity planning, APM, problem resolution.
• Be a subject-matter-expert and guide team decisions and cross-team coordination.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in performance engineering.
• Analyze performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and implement performance testing strategies to ensure reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance.
• Provide training and mentorship on performance engineering best practices.
• Continuously evaluate and refine performance tools and methodologies.
