Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC's Converting operation in Halsey, OR is seeking a Performance Coach (Production Supervisor) to lead hourly teams, develop talent, and drive product system metrics. This role requires a 12-hour shift with a 4 days on / 4 days off schedule to support a 24x7 production operation, collaborating with engineers and master techs to sustain safety and performance.

You will use SAP, TRAX, KRONOS and a Warehouse Management System to enhance capability, training plans, and operational

Qualifications

Experience supervising, mentoring, and training employees.
Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Willing and able to work a 12-hour shift schedule that includes weekends, holidays and additional crew meetings outside those hours.

Responsibilities

Leading, mentoring, supervising, coaching and developing hourly employees to improve capability and performance.
Facilitating knowledge transfer among team members.
Leading safety action plans and safety meetings in collaboration with area Master Techs.
Ensuring roles, responsibilities, and expectations align with plant goals and maximize value.
Creating an environment that emphasizes hazard identification and risk reduction.
Interfacing with Manufacturing Engineers and other stakeholders to identify performance gaps.
Providing frequent performance feedback and developing annual 360 feedback summaries.
Working with the team to execute asset strategies and develop training plans.
