Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC's Brunswick Cellulose facility seeks a Performance Development Leader for Utilities. You will provide frontline operational leadership across all shifts, mentor Shift Supervisors, and act as a cultural leader to drive safety, reliability, and continuous improvement.

Reporting to the Utilities Area Leader, you will own the daily operating plan, develop salaried talent, and partner with Maintenance, Reliability, EHS, and Learning & Development to build bench strength and ensure

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience leading others to improve performance.
• Experience in heavy industrial manufacturing or related environment.
• Ability to work extended hours and rotate on weekend duty.

Responsibilities

• Lead a culture of safety and environmental excellence on every shift, where no objective overrides safety.
• Own execution of the daily operating plan across all shifts with targets for production, quality and usage.
• Lead, develop, and hold Shift Supervisors accountable to run their crews effectively.
• Support the Utilities Area Leader in developing salaried talent and depth for the department.
• Drive a bottom-up shift-driven culture where front line owns decisions and improvements.
• Ensure disciplined use of the Operating System with tier meetings, standard work, problemsolving, and handoffs.
• Own personnel-related fixed costs and the hourly continuity plan, and assist with salaried planning.
• Partner with PD Leaders across areas to ensure consistency and improvements.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Reliability, Technical, EHS, and Learning & Development to support reliable operations.
