Job summary

Georgia-Pacific’s Consumer Products Group in Halsey, OR is seeking a Performance Coach (Production Supervisor) to lead the Converting organization at the mill. This role focuses on developing hourly teams and driving performance metrics in a 24x7 operation on a rotating 4-on 4-off shift.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising, mentoring, and training employees.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Willing and able to work a 12-hour shift schedule including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, supervise, coach and develop hourly employees using PBM guiding principles to improve capability and performance.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer among team members to enable success.
• Lead crew safety action plans and safety meetings to support EHS excellence.
• Ensure roles, responsibilities, and expectations are aligned with plant goals.
• Create an environment that values hazard identification and risk reduction.
• Interface with engineers and peers to address performance gaps.
• Provide frequent performance feedback and 360 summaries.
• Develop training plans and support outage planning and execution.
• Ensure decisions align with the contract language and intent.
