Job summary

EXOS in Getzville, NY is seeking a Performance Coach to lead group classes, assess clients, and design personalized workouts. The role includes one-on-one coaching, goal setting, and motivational support to help clients achieve health outcomes.

You will contribute to program initiatives, assist with facility operations, and foster strong client relationships across diverse populations. This is a full-time, on-site position with a focus on safety, customer service, and engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field.
• Certification from NASM, ACSM, NSCA, or ACE preferred.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification required.
• At least 6 months of industry experience.
• Experience leading group exercise classes and building client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Monitor participants to ensure safety and adherence to workout plans.
• Lead and instruct diverse group exercise classes for various fitness levels.
• Conduct fitness assessments and design personalized exercise plans.
• Offer one-on-one consultations and motivation to clients.
• Support incentive programs and health-promotion initiatives while handling daily facility tasks.
