Job summary

ISEE is seeking an experienced full-time Senior Perception Engineer to lead R&D on perception algorithms for autonomous driving. You will guide the team, design and prototype algorithms for the perception and sensor stack, and deploy them on the company’s vehicle fleet across object detection, localization, mapping, and fusion tasks.

You will also develop multimodal sensor fusion and calibration systems, invent new methods, and build simulations to validate performance, while staying current

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in EE/CE/EC or Computer Vision.
• Minimum 4 years of non-academic work experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily technical and execution guidance on R&D tasks for the perception team.
• Research, design, and develop algorithms for autonomous driving to enhance perception and sensor stacks.
• Prototype and deploy perception algorithms on company vehicle fleet (Object Detection, Localization/Mapping, Fusion and MOT).
• Develop multimodal sensor fusion/calibration systems using Cameras, LiDAR, GNSS, IMU, RaDARs.
• Invent new algorithms, tools, and models to advance autonomous vehicle systems.
• Develop simulations to compare virtual vs real-world performance and inform future development.
• Lead algorithm design discussions and collaborate on research data analysis.
• Stay current with CV and PR research and share findings with the team.

the company is seeking an experienced full-time Senior Perception Engineer to join our team.Job duties: Provide daily technical and execution guidance on research and development tasks to perception team members. Specifically:

• Research, design, and develop algorithms for autonomous driving systems to solve challenging problems in the company's Perception and Sensor stack.
• Prototype and deploy robust perception algorithms on the company's vehicle fleet in areas of: Object Detection, Localization and Mapping, Fusion and Multi Object Tracking;
• Develop systems for multimodal Sensor Fusion and Calibration using multiple grade sensors including but not limited to Cameras, LiDARs, GNSS, IMUs and RaDARs.
• Invent and design new algorithms, tools, and models in emerging research areas to improve the complex autonomous vehicle systems;
• Develop simulations for the company's systems and identify discrepancies between virtual and real-world performance for future development and analysis.
• Contribute novel research ideas and collaborate with team members to conduct research data analysis. Lead the algorithm design discussions to solve technical problems for the system;
• Stay up to date with current research in the field of Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition and share relevant research with the team.
