Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Sciences from an accredited program.
• ARRT radiography registration is required.
• New graduates must register with ARRT within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic/fluoroscopic procedures for diagnosis.
• Assess patients and review orders or charts as appropriate.
• Prepare patients, answer questions, and refer to radiologist when needed.
• Minimise discomfort and protect patient privacy during exams.
• Record exam times in the RIS for timely radiologist access.
• Maintain radiation safety, infection control, and universal precautions.
• Comply with Radiation Protection Plan and shielding/dosimeter usage.
• Monitor exam timeliness and quality of care against department goals.
• Perform QA of exams and annotate images correctly before radiologist review.
• Submit work orders when equipment is down.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
