Owensboro Health Urgent Care Owensboro seeks a qualified registered nurse to deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced clinic setting. You will implement and monitor care plans, coordinate disciplines, and respond to physician orders to ensure well-coordinated patient care.

Responsibilities include assessing discharge needs, educating patients, and applying nurse practice standards. The role is per diem/PRN with weekend requirements and requires Kentucky RN licensure and BLS within 45 days.

Qualifications

• RN license required in Kentucky at hire
• BLS certification within 45 days of employment

Responsabilités

• Implements and monitors patient care plans.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition.
• Acts as primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses discharge planning needs with patient/family and care team.
• Assesses learning needs of patient/family and provides education.
