Owensboro Health Regional Hospital is seeking a per diem RN to provide direct nursing care in the Surgery Preparation & Recovery unit. The role includes implementing care plans, monitoring patient conditions, and coordinating multidisciplinary care.

Requires Kentucky RN license, BLS within 45 days, and an Associate degree or higher with a Bachelor's degree within 5 years. Per diem, as needed, with flexible weekend requirements.

Qualifications

• RN license in Kentucky required upon hire.
• BLS certification required within 45 days of employment.
• Education: Associate degree or higher; Bachelor's degree within 5 years.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct nursing care according to policy and procedures.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Observe and communicate patient condition to the team.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team for well-coordinated care.
• Carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assist with discharge planning with patient and family.
• Provide patient/family education tailored to age, culture, and learning needs.
• Practice in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act.
