Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Southwest is seeking a Per-Diem Surgical Technologist (Scrub Tech) to scrub for procedures, maintain a sterile field, and support the surgical team in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and Surgical Technician training, state or center certification as required, and prior ASC or hospital experience; we value teamwork, aseptic technique, and a commitment to patient safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and Surgical Technician program completion.
• State or center certification as required by regulations.
• ASC or hospital surgical technologist experience preferred.
• Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Scrubbing for surgical procedures and maintaining a sterile field.
• Preparing supplies, instruments, and equipment for procedures.
• Anticipating surgeon needs and supporting the surgical team.
• Participating in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Collaborating with staff, physicians, and patients to ensure smooth operations.
