Job summary

Prime Healthcare's Olympia Fields facility is seeking a Certified Operating Room Technologist to prepare sterile supplies and maintain the sterile field throughout procedures, assisting the surgeon with instruments.

Requirements include a high school diploma, ORT training or 3 years of surgical experience, current CST certification, BLS, and experience scrubbing in multiple specialties. Per diem status and variable shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; required for new hires.
• Graduate of an ORT training program or on the job training with a minimum of 3 years’ experience (surgical setting preferred).
• Current Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile supplies and instruments for procedures.
• Maintain sterile field during cases and provide surgeon with supplies during procedures.
