Job summary

Olympia Fields Hospital is seeking a Certified Operating Room Tech to prepare sterile supplies and instruments for each procedure. You will maintain a sterile field and provide the surgeon with needed instruments throughout the case.

Ideal candidates have an ORT training or equivalent, 3+ years surgical experience, and current BLS certification. Per Diem status with daytime shifts is available, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent or related experience.
• Graduate of an ORT training program or on the job training with a minimum of 3 years’ experience (surgical setting preferred).
• Current Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist.
• Experience in scrubbing minor and major procedures in generalized surgical specialties (e.g., GYN, General and Plastics).
• Experience in scrubbing at least minor procedures in specialty areas (e.g., ortho, neuro, ENT, Uro).
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

• Current Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist.
• Experience in scrubbing minor and major procedures in the generalized surgical specialties, (i.e., GYN, General and Plastics).
• Experience in scrubbing at least minor procedures in the specialty surgical areas (i.e., ortho, neuro, ENT, Uro, Etc.).
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

Pay Transparency

Olympia Fields Hospital offers competitive compensation and a reasonable estimate for this role is $25.63 per hour.
