Olympia Fields Hospital is seeking a Certified Operating Room Technician for per diem shifts. The role focuses on preparing sterile supplies and keeping the sterile field intact during procedures, while assisting the surgeon with instruments and supplies as needed.
Qualified candidates will hold a High School Diploma, have ORT/CST training, CST certification, and experience scrubbing in varied surgical specialties. BLS certification is preferred upon hire and at time of employment.
The Certified Operating Room Tech is responsible for the preparation of sterile supplies and instruments for each assigned procedure, maintaining sterile field during case and providing surgeon with sterile supplies and instruments during assigned procedures.
Olympia Fields Hospital offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $25.63. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
