Job summary

Massachusetts Eye and Ear is hiring a Per Diem Surgical Technologist for our Longwood satellite campus at 800 Huntington Ave. The role supports intraoperative care, assisting surgeons and nurses, preparing the OR, and maintaining sterile technique throughout procedures.

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or equivalent and 2–3 years of acute care experience; CST certification is preferred. This is an onsite, per diem day-shift position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of acute care Surgical Technologist experience required.
• NBSTSA CST certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons, nurses, and tech staff during procedures.
• Prepare operating room with sterile supplies and equipment.
• Transport and position patients safely on the surgical table.
• Pass instruments and maintain sterile technique throughout procedures.
• Document surgical counts and intraoperative details.
• Collaborate with surgical team to ensure safe, efficient operations.
