Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care's Denver, CO surgery center is seeking a per diem Surgical Tech to support interventional procedures. Under supervision, you will scrub and circulate, prepare the procedure room, stock supplies, and assist with patient preparation and positioning.

CST preferred for less experienced candidates; requires High School Diploma, Surgical Technologist certification, and BLS. 1–2 years' related experience preferred. Per diem, on‑site role with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Surgical Technologist Certification and state licensure as required.
• 1–2 years' related experience preferred.
• Experience with interventional equipment (C‑Arm and Ultrasound) and sterile techniques.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the maintenance and setup of the procedure room in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Stock procedure room and trays with supplies and interventional equipment.
• Clean the procedure room and equipment post procedure.
• Assist with preparing the patient for the surgical procedure by positioning and prepping.
• Maintain sterile technique and assist the physician during interventional procedures under fluoroscopy.
• Draw up intravenous medications and label per policy.
• Perform circulating duties in the procedure room.
• Assist with instrument sterilization and packaging of surgical instruments.
• Maintain medical records and assist with inventory and supplies.
