Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks an experienced Surgical Technologist to support interventional procedures as a scrub and circulating team member. You will prepare the procedure room, stock supplies, and assist the physician with interventional techniques under fluoroscopy, maintaining a sterile environment.

The role requires 1-2 years of related experience, BLS certification, and state-regulated surgical technologist credentials.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Surgical Technologist Certification per state regulation.
• 1-2 years' related experience; patient care preferred.
• Experience with interventional equipment, sterile techniques, and C-Arm procedures.
• BLS certification required.
• Knowledge of universal precautions when operating radiology systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and setup of the interventional procedure room.
• Stock procedure room and trays with supplies; assist with instrument sterilization.
• Assist scrub and circulating duties under physician supervision.
• Position patients and assist with transfers; transport to/from procedure room.
• Maintain patient records and comply with HIPAA; ensure equipment is ready and functional.
• Support with equipment maintenance and report issues to supervisor.
