Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks a per diem Surgical Tech for our Garden Grove, CA surgery center. The role requires scrub and circulating duties during interventional procedures, with a focus on maintaining sterile technique and patient safety.

Typical hours are Monday–Friday, 6:30am–4:00pm, with Wednesdays preferred. Requires high school diploma and Surgical Technologist certification, plus BLS and state licensure as applicable.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years related experience in surgical settings.
• Surgical technologist certification required per state regulations.
• Knowledge of sterile techniques and universal precautions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setting up the procedure room per policies and regulations.
• Stock procedure room and trays with supplies and equipment.
• Prepare the patient for surgery and assist with positioning.
• Maintain sterile technique during interventional procedures under fluoroscopy.
• Assist with instrumentation sterilization and packaging.
• Maintain patient records and comply with HIPAA.
