Job summary

Grove Place Surgery Center in Florida is seeking a per diem Surgical Technician to support the operating room team. You will scrub in, assist the surgeon and RN circulator, and ensure sterile technique and equipment readiness for each case.

The role requires graduation from an accredited surgical technology program, HS diploma, and BLS certification per ASC policy, with responsibilities including case preparation and turnover.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from an accredited school of surgical technology.
• BLS certification (as required by ASC policy).

Responsibilities

• Ensure supplies, equipment and instruments are ready for procedures.
• Scrub and assist during surgical cases and with the RN circulator.
• Maintain sterile technique and report breaks in sterility.
• Prepare cases for the next day and assist in room turnover.
• Support patient positioning and instrument handling as needed.
