Orlando Ophthalmology Surgery Center is hiring a Per Diem Surgical Technologist to assist in cataract and related ophthalmic procedures. The role involves scrubbing, maintaining sterility, and supporting the surgical team in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; completion of a Scrub Technician Program. Certification preferable.
• Two years experience as a Scrub Tech in multiple specialties or equivalent education/experience.
• Familiar with medical terminology as it pertains to anatomy and surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for surgical procedures and maintains a sterile field.
• Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment for procedures.
• Supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center.
• Collaborates with staff and physicians to coordinate patient care.
