Job summary

Regent Surgical Health seeks a Surgical Technician for a per diem role at Grove Place Surgery Center. You will scrub in, assist the surgeon, and help prepare cases and maintain sterile technique in the operating room.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, graduation from an accredited surgical technology program, and BLS certification. Preferred: 1 year OR experience and CST NBSTSA certification where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology.
• BLS certification as required by individual ASC policy.
• One year of current Surgical Tech experience in an OR setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper supplies, equipment, and instruments are ready for use.
• Clean operating room between cases.
• Restock operating rooms as necessary to meet par levels.
• Assist other operating rooms for coverage.
• Prepare cases for the next day.
• May operate sterilizer, lights, suction machine, and other designated equipment.
