Job summary

Carson Valley Health in Gardnerville, NV is seeking a Surgery-Surgical Technician for per diem shifts in the Operating Room. You will provide technical skills and assist surgeons, anesthesia personnel, and nurses in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

The role requires a completed surgical technologist program (or equivalent) and current CST/BLS credentials. Per diem status means work is on an as-needed basis with a 15% hourly premium, and duties include room setup, instrumentation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited surgical technologist program or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons, anesthesia personnel, registered nurses and other professionals in the operating room.
• Prepare the OR and equipment for procedures and maintain sterile technique.
• Picks surgical cases using surgeon preference cards and ensures all supplies are ready.
• Communicate with the team to maintain patient safety and turnover efficiency.
