Responsibilities

• Prepares operating room with instruments, sutures, supplies and equipment for each procedure.
• Assists in positioning, prepping, and draping patients for surgery.
• Maintains sterile back table and ensures readiness between cases.
• Performs aseptic technique and upholds infection control practices.
• Verifies sterile instruments and reports discrepancies.
• Cares for equipment and notifies maintenance when needed.
