Trinity Health in Oakbrook Terrace, IL, is seeking a part-time Surgical Technician (unlicensed/un certified) to join the peri-operative team. You will support the total care process, prepare and maintain instruments, supplies, and equipment, and assist during procedures under scope of practice and supervision.

You must have a High School diploma or GED and at least one year in a health care or military medical setting. Current Surgical Technician certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; At least one (1) year experience in a health care or military medical setting; Meets requirements for applicable state(s) of engagement.
• Current certification as a Surgical Technician from an accredited program.

Responsabilités

• Assist in total peri-operative process and provide intra-operative patient care as directed.
• Anticipates surgeon’s needs in the use of medical supplies, instrumentation and equipment.
• Maintains a safe, clean operating room suite and supports documentation and records as needed.
