Job summary

Duly Health Westmont in Westmont, IL is seeking an OR Tech to support perioperative care. The role includes assisting with room turnover, sterile supply management, case cart preparation, and patient care activities under RN supervision.

The successful candidate will be BLS certified, with high school diploma or equivalent and experience in the perioperative setting scrubbing and assisting under supervisor. This position is full-time and on-site.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Cooperative work attitude toward and with colleagues, management, patients, visitors and physicians, with effective communication.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in perioperative scrub and assistant roles under surgeon, PA/RNFA and RN supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist with operating room turnover and sterile equipment handling.
• Restock OR supplies and manage inventory on a quarterly basis.
• Assist with patient positioning and care under RN/PA/RN supervision.
• Maintain sterile field and follow universal precautions and hospital policies.
• Assist in surgery with retracting under direct surgeon supervision.
