Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami-Dade, South Florida's largest private independent not-for-profit hospital, seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech, voice, and swallowing disorders.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, develop individualized treatment plans, document progress, and participate in staff education and performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Current Florida State SLP License and CPR certification.
• ASHA Membership required.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
• Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC-SLP) required or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Independently evaluates, diagnoses, and provides evidenced-based treatment for speech, language, cognitive-linguistic, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Completes patient assessments within established departmental timeframes to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Develops individualized treatment plans based on patients' functional status and goals.
• Independently documents evaluation findings, treatment sessions, and clinical recommendations clearly and accurately.
• Collaborates with Supervisor/Manager/Director and participates in staff meetings and performance improvement projects.
