Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Per Diem Speech Pathologist to deliver skilled in-home evaluation and treatment for speech, language, cognition, voice and swallowing disorders in Kentucky.

You'll partner with patients, families and the inter-disciplinary team to improve communication, safety, independence and quality of life through personalized home-based care. This role offers flexible per diem scheduling and opportunities for professional growth within a national health care leader.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered state license to practice speech pathology.
• CCC-SLP certification with accredited graduate program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat speech, language, cognitive, voice and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provide aural rehabilitation and AAC support for deaf or hard-of-hearing individuals.
• Collaborate with patients, families and interdisciplinary team; perform other duties as assigned.
