Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required or CFY-appropriate.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA required.
• Licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or eligible for licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative services to patients with reduced communicative or swallow function.
• Improve functional communication and swallow skills.
• Educate patients and families and serve as a resource for community services.
• Document examinations, evaluations, diagnoses, prognoses, interventions and outcomes; bill for interventions.
• Support discharge planning and continuity of services; participate in continuing education and team-based care.
