Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital Saginaw is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a per diem position in Saginaw, MI. The role involves evaluating and treating communication and swallowing disorders, with a focus on collaborative, interdisciplinary patient care.

The position offers per diem scheduling with a pay rate of $50.00 per hour and eligibility for 401(k) after 1,000 hours within the first anniversary year. Licensure and BLS are required; CCC is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• BLS certification or completion within 90 days of employment.
• CCC (ASHA) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluation of communication and/or swallowing function and goal-oriented treatment.
• Collaborate with the Rehab Therapy Department and other staff to deliver interdisciplinary patient programming.
• Monitor the quality of services and participate in peer review for staff performance.
• Assist in development of SLP programs and revise departmental policies and procedures.
• Maintain adequate stock of supplies and contribute to ongoing education of staff.
