Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Gainesville, FL is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for per diem coverage. The role includes comprehensive evaluation and goal-directed treatment of communication and swallowing functions, in collaboration with Rehab Therapy staff.

Per diem position with competitive compensation at $49.00 per hour. Minimum qualifications include current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist and BLS certification (or within 90 days).

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• BLS certification or completion within 90 days of employment.
• CCC certification from ASHA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluation of communication and/or swallowing function.
• Provide goal-oriented treatment to maximize communication and swallowing potential.
• Collaborate with Rehab Therapy staff to ensure quality interdisciplinary care.
• Assist in monitoring quality of services and participate in peer reviews.
